Bradley Michael Lewis

August 10, 2009 — February 23, 2024

Cibolo, Texas

Bradley "Papa, Poops, Bradster, Bradman, Bubs" Michael Lewis, aged 14, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024, in Cibolo, TX.  After a valiant battle with complex medical issues, Bradley was called back to the Lord.

Born on August 10, 2009, in Wichita, KS, Bradley cherished many favorite shows such as Futurama, Phineas and Ferb, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Charlie Brown, Hey Arnold, Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Steven Universe, Clarence, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Rocko's Modern Life, The Amazing World of Gumball, Uncle Grandpa, Curious George, Odd Squad, Teen Titans Go, Craig of the Creek, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Powerpuff Girls, Planet Sheen, Power Rangers (Mighty Morphin, Samurai, Ninja Steel, Mega Force), Spongebob, Invader Zim, ChalkZone, Sanjay and Craig, Kids Next Door, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Double Dare, Legends of the hidden temple, Nick Arcade, Nick Guts, All That, The Amanda Show, Carmen Sandiego, and Garfield & Friends.

Spiderman is his favorite superhero and his nemesis is the butterfly. His favorite movies included Back to the Future trilogy, Jumanji, Spiderman into the Spider-Verse and across the Spider-Verse.

His favorite music artists are Michael Jackson, Queen, Smashmouth, and Beastie Boys. Butterfingers and cotton candy were his favorite candies.

His favorite thing to do is the Littlest Passport activities. Bradley was unable to speak or move on his own, however, we were able to communicate with each other through his facial features and his eyes. His last activity was making a haiku poem:

                                          I speak with my eyes
I listen with my whole heart
                                          my name is Bradley

Despite his challenges with mobility and speech, he communicated through facial expressions and eyes. Bradley chose to be saved and gave his heart to Christ and was baptized October 2022. He completed 8th grade at Dobie middle school.

Bradley was so determined to walk when we were leaving South Korea. As long as he was holding my hand, he took every step on his own and walked through the entire Seoul airport to our terminal and into the plane to his seat. I was so proud of him. I had an ear infection in both ears at the time, and I was nearly deaf because of it and even though I couldn't hear him laugh as he climbed into the oversized seat I could feel his happiness when his little face looked up at me.

During the last couple of years his favorite thing to do was getting into his hot tub to float around with the jets massaging his back and he would smile with relief of the weight off of him.

Bradley Micheal Lewis is survived by his Mother and Father Brandie & Joshua Lewis, and three sisters, Lana Lewis, Kylee Lewis, Jayla Lewis of Cibolo, TX, and all of those who love him.
