Billie Joe “Bill” Peterson, passed away peacefully on August 25 th , 2021, at his home in Cibolo, Texas. He was born on May 31 st , 1934, to Charles R Peterson & Beulah Archer in Eastland, Texas. Bill married the love of his life, Helen F. McMeans on June 23, 1956; they recently celebrated their 65 th wedding anniversary.
Bill never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone. He was an avid hunter and loved playing softball and watching football.
Bill was preceded in death by his son, John E Peterson. He is survived by his wife, Helen; his son, Billy J Peterson; daughter, Katherine Kuntscher; 6 grandchildren, Shawn, Lauren, Jonathan, Veronica, Brandi, and Dawn; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Bill, to the charity of your choice.
