Betty Wright

February 2, 1931 — November 3, 2008

Betty Elizabeth Wright was born February 2, 1931 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Luther and Elma Wright. She was the oldest girl of 10 children. She went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2008. Betty leaves to mourn her loss her devoted sister, Maj. Helen D. Wright, USAF Ret., Schertz, TX, and brother, Carver D. Wright & wife, Bessie, Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by nieces: Bernita J. Evans, Nashville, TN, Marilyn S. Stevens & husband, James, Scottsboro, AL and Stephanie Wright, Chattanooga, TN; nephews: Aaron L. Wright and Randolph N. Wright, Schertz, TX, Gregory L. Wright & wife, Barbara, Grand Prairie, TX, Maurice Wright, Opelika, AL, Jeffrey L. Wright, Eufaula, AL and Michael Wright, Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by dear friends, Thayne and Betty Cuevas, several great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family expresses its deep appreciation to the Randolph Church of Christ family for their love and support: Shirley Dietrich, Terri Adams, Shirl Joseph and Vista Care Hospices for their loving care. A visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 5-9 PM with the family greeting visitors from 6:30-8:00 PM. Services will be held at Randolph Church of Christ at 1032 Pat Booker Road, on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
