October 16, 1936 — September 24, 2023

Cibolo

Ann Dellene Dickenson, 86, of Cibolo, TX, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24th at their home in Cibolo surrounded by her family. Ann was born to Woodrow and Othella Coker in Moody, TX on October 16th, 1936. She grew up in Moody along with her childhood sweetheart, Don Dickenson, also of Moody. They attended school and church together, and were already a couple by their early teens. After graduation from Moody High School in 1955, Ann and Don were joined together in holy matrimony before God, family and friends on July 2nd, 1955. They recently celebrated their 68th anniversary.

Ann was a devoted military wife, following Don around the country and around the world, with assignments in Washington state, California, Texas, Florida, and Libya, Africa. She enjoyed making ceramics, and her creations still grace their home. First and foremost, Ann lived out her faith, always active in the church wherever the Air Force sent them. Ann’s passion and love for her family were always evident.

She is survived by her husband, Don; brother Larry Coker (Linda); children Don Jr. (Barbara), Roxanne Faith (Lyman), and Kirk (Cindy); grandchildren Kelley Hefner (Jeremy), Nathan Faith, Courtney Faith (Tommy Duff), David Dickenson (Lauren), and Jacob Faith (Renae); great grandchildren Autumn Duff, Ryan Hefner, Audrey Hefner, Allison Hefner, Arya Duff, Emet Dickenson, Nora Dickenson, and Aden and Levi Dickenson (twin boys due in late December). She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Othella Coker, sister Bernice Fletcher, and brother Clayton Coker.
