Amador Cantu Iii

Amador Benny Cantu III (Ben), 40, of Schertz, Texas, passed away December 31, 2021 in Bexar County, Texas.

Ben will always be remembered as a beloved partner, father, son, brother, and friend to many. He is a 1999 alum of Judson High School in Converse, TX. He was a grill master, hunter, dedicated baseball/softball player, loved to travel, and had a passion for motorcycles. He loved working with his hands and was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a wonderful sense of humor, never met a stranger, and was always up for a good laugh. Ben loved his children with all his heart. And, he was a proud “Owen” who loved his extended family very much.

He leaves behind a loving family that include his partner, Crystal Wolf (Jaramillo) and son, Noah Benjamin Wolf (10 months); his three daughters, Zilanna Cantu (3) and her mom Zorraida Perez-Cantu, Alyssa Cantu (19), Alexis Cantu (22), and granddaughter, Arya Cantu (3) of his daughter Alyssa.

Ben is survived by his parents, Norma and Robert Owen, Jr., sister Athena Owen, and sister Charisse Cantu. He joins his brother, Robert (Trey) Owen III, who predeceased Ben.

A viewing will be held at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX 78154 on Saturday, January, 8th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A celebration of life will be held at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX 78154 on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 11:00 am.
