Alva Terrell

Alva Jewell Terrell, age 98 of Schertz, passed away on December 31, 2007. She was born to John & Tempie (Herndon) Cooper on May 7, 1909 in Gonzales County, Texas. Alva was the youngest of eleven children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie O. Terrell and her brothers & sisters. Alva is survived by her daughter, Mary Vickers & husband, Cecil; grandchildren, Tempie Callaway & husband, Perry, Cibolo and Connie Low & husband, Junus, St. Hedwig; great-grandchildren, Tara Callaway, Sonya Millicone & husband, Marc, Melissa Johnson and great-great grandchildren, Devon, Mitchell, Mason & Kaylee. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM with Elders Jack Johnson and Vance Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow at Mission Park South Cemetery, San Antonio.
