Alphonso Patrick Watson

Alphonso "Patrick" Watson, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2025.

Patrick was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica on March 8, 1963, and later came to the U.S. in 2010 to experience a new life. In Jamaica, Patrick was affectionately known as "Grampa", a nickname given to him. Patrick loved playing dominoes and poker, and was known for his famous Jamaican cooking, which led to him fulfilling his dream of opening his own food truck before he was called home.

Patrick is survived by his loving partner of 14 years, Melody. Together, they raised 4 incredible children: Harmony Sullivan, I'ziiyah Watson, Mosiiyah Watson, and Mahani Watson. Patrick is also survived by his siblings and children in his hometown of Montego Bay, Jamaica, as well as numerous family members and friends.

Patrick touched the hearts and lives of many in Jamaica and in the U.S. and will be deeply missed.

A Visitation for Patrick will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home.
