Aloys Joseph Dylla, known lovingly to family and friends as Al, passed away on June 27, 1926, in San Antonio, Texas.
Born on August 9, 1937, in Jourdanton, Texas, Al lived a life marked by quiet devotion, simple pleasures, and a steadfast connection to those he held dear. Al was a man of humble joys who found contentment in the everyday rhythms of life. He was an avid fisherman who treasured his time on the water, finding peace and renewal in the patience the sport demanded. Those who knew him well also knew the pride he took in maintaining his lawn, a reflection of his careful, attentive nature and his commitment to tending to the things entrusted to his care.
Al is survived by his brother, Vincent Dylla, who will carry forward the memory of a devoted sibling and a good man. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A man of faith, Al found comfort in his Christian beliefs throughout his life. May he now rest in the eternal peace he so richly deserves, held in the loving embrace of his Creator.
A public viewing will be held Tuesday, July 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place Wednesday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel.
The family invites all who knew and loved Al to join them in celebrating a life well lived and a spirit that will not be forgotten
