Alma Rosa G. Timmons, a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026 in San Antonio Texas. Born on November 3, 1965, in Laredo, Texas, Alma was a devoted daughter, loving sister, and a dedicated wife, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.

Alma’s journey in life was marked by her unwavering spirit and dedication. After graduating from Martin High School in Laredo, she embarked on a distinguished 20-year career at AT&T, from which she retired as a trusted member of the Revenue Management Team. Yet, her greatest accomplishments extended far beyond her professional life. Alma was deeply involved in her community and made a significant impact through her work in the children's ministry at the Country Church in Marion, Texas. Her heart was always open to helping others, and she would lend a hand to anyone in need.

Those who were fortunate to know Alma will fondly remember her radiant smile, which could brighten even the darkest of days. She had a unique gift for bringing people together and loved to cook for family gatherings, creating moments of joy and connection. Alma also enjoyed traveling with her church family, experiencing the beauty of fellowship and shared faith along the way.

Alma is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Bryan D. Timmons. She leaves behind her adoring parents, Tomas Garcia and Manuela Garcia, as well as her cherished siblings: Carmen Garcia, Maria Cristina Cantu (David Cantu), Leticia Garcia (Alexis Castaneda), Anna Laura Garcia, Nora Elia Horn (Jason P. Horn), Tomas Garcia (Ivette Garcia), Juan Manuel Garcia (Veronica Garcia), and Melissa G. Herrera (Darel Arnaldo Herrera). Her brother and sister in-laws; James Timmons (Marcela Timmons), Elizabeth Gutierrez (Pedro Gutierrez), Ruth Cantu (George Stout), Mary Stagg (Tom Stagg), and Sharon Guerra. Alma is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart, as well as by countless friends and community members who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

She joins her beloved sister, Norma Alicia Garcia, and brother-in-law, Lou Guerra, in eternal rest, where her vibrant spirit will continue to shine.

Alma Rosa G. Timmons will be remembered for the love, kindness, and laughter she shared with everyone around her. Her legacy of compassion and positivity will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Funeral Service will be held for Alma Rosa G. Timmons on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Country Church in Marion, Texas beginning at 10 am.
