Alfredo Magpali

With great sorrow we are sad to announce that Alfredo Magpali, beloved husband, father, and Lolo, passed away suddenly on March 30th, 2022 at the age of 74, in Cibolo, Texas. His charismatic personality and devotion to his family will forever be remembered.
He was born in the Philippine province of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on October 21, 1947 and was raised by his loving mother, Avelina, along with his three brothers: Rodrigo, Romeo, Reynaldo and sister: Olli. As a child, his family moved to Quezon City where he eventually met the love of his life Elma who just happened to live across the street. They’ve been inseparable ever since. He joined the Unites States Air Force in 1974 and proudly served for 20 years where he traveled the globe with his family and garnered numerous awards and medals for his outstanding service.
Affectionately known as “Tito Odi”, Alfredo is survived by his devoted wife, Elma. He was a proud Papa to three beautiful children: Sherry Jane, Jeffery and Jasmine. Those that met Alfredo know that he loved to joke around and there was a never a shortage of laughter and light when he was around and he will be missed dearly.
The Viewing will be held on April 7th, 2022 at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 Roy Richard Dr, Schertz, TX 78154 from 5:00-8:00 pm (Rosary at 7:00 pm). If you cannot attend in-person, we will have the virtual link up by 6:30 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on April 8th, 2022 @11:30am at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1065 E Live Oak Rd, Schertz, TX 78154. If you cannot attend in-person, we will try to have the virtual link up.
Reception to follow at the family home.
A private burial with close family and friends will be held at a later date.
