Alfred Nunn

Alfred Laurence Nunn, age 84, of Schertz, TX went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2020. He was born in Boston MA on Dec 15,1935 to Laurence Clark Nunn and Evelyn Giroux. He enlisted in the USAF in 1954, starting out with the military air police, he also served with the USAF Honor Guard and drill team, performed on the Jack Benny show as well guard dignitaries as they lay in state at the US Capitol. He served in the Vietnam war and was awarded the bronze star. He then crossed trained into main frame computers serving at Maxwell AFB AL, Wiesbaden AB GE, Warner Robbins AFB GA, and Randolph AFB, TX where he finished his career at military personnel center (MPC), retiring as Master Sergeant in 1976 in Schertz TX. After the military he worked in 1 year in Saudi Arabia as a contractor and then Dallas, TX for Ross Perot's company EDS until 1990. He was a member of the VFW post 8315 of Schertz, TX, VFW post 4676, and the American Legion post 667 of Universal City, TX. He enjoyed traveling the world and took multiple cruises with his wife Joyce.

Survived by his siblings Lorain Poccio and Phil Nunn of Boston MA, children Larry Nunn, Andy Nunn and wife Bobbie of Schertz, and Russell Trew and wife Jenny of London UK. Two grand children Laura Nunn Spring Hill, FL, Brad Nunn and wife Valene with great grand children Alivia Nunn and Brayden Nunn Weeki Wachee FL, and former spouse and mother of Larry, Alan and Andy, Sheila Nunn of Schertz.
