Albert Ybarra

Albert M. Ybarra, born on May 14, 1968, in Tucson, Arizona passed away on March 8, 2021, in San
Antonio, Texas. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Martinez & Roberto Caiz. He is
survived by his loving wife, Tanya E. Ybarra & thier furbabies. Son Michael (wife Kim & mother Narda
Ybarra), Step parents Papa Wes & Donna Lassiter. Brothers- in- Law Thomas Milligan, wife Rita &
nephew Jordan, Tim Milligan, wife Jackie & nephew Matthew.
Albert served his country in The United States Airforce as a Radio Communications System Journeyman
and was a member of the Honor Guard while stationed in Guam.
Albert liked to grill, smoke and occasionally burn a few good pieces of meat. He even had a cookoff
team with his brother-in-law Thomas called “Nutz for BBQ”. He liked watching Nascar, and was an avid
Jeff Gordon fan. He even married his wife Tanya on the 24th just to honor his favorite driver's number!
His favorite football team The Dallas Cowboys would always get a word or two yelled at them from his
favorite spot on the sofa. He even attended a game with his son at Cowboys Stadium for his 50th
birthday which meant the world to him. He loved spending time with his friends, family and furbabies
and will be missed by all the lives he touched on his journey back into God’s arms.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021, visitation starts at 9 am, service is at 10:00
AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
